Why We Built TextShape

The design tool landscape in 2024-2025 has become increasingly complex. Professional tools require monthly subscriptions, AI generators produce inconsistent results, and most cloud-based tools require uploading your images to remote servers.

We saw an opportunity to solve these problems:

• Cost barrier: Many creators can't afford $15-30/month for design subscriptions
• Predictability: AI tools are creative but unpredictable—sometimes you need exact control
• Privacy concerns: Uploading images to cloud servers raises data ownership questions
• Complexity: Professional tools have steep learning curves for simple tasks

TextShape addresses all of these by running entirely in your browser, processing images locally, and using mathematical precision instead of AI randomness.
